How to hold a workpiece when you can't use a clamp
Mitee-Grip is a heat activated compound embedded in a 0.25 thick holding medium. This precision holding medium maintains parallelism on precision parts. Mitee-Grip is very useful when machining thin or hard to hold parts and allows machining on five sides of a workpiece without using a clamp.
Mitee-Grip can also help machine thin walled areas by allowing backer plates to be stuck in place to add mass and support, then removed without damage. Mitee-Grip will bond to steel, aluminum, glass, wood, most plastics and many other materials.
